The drive is for a copy conveyor (6-8), the speed of which is variable in conformance with the type of production which may be double production or copy-run production. A motor drives the copy conveyor, and the drive system incorporates a planetary gear (20) with a first drive component (16) rotationally driven by the motor, a second drive component (17) rotationally driven in at least one of the production types, and a driven component (18,19) which with the drive components forms a superimposing stage and drives the copy conveyor. An operating unit is coupled to the planetary gear and can change the rotational speed differential of the drive components for a change from one production type to the other. |
