<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform both of cooling and heating by utilizing the heat generating/absorbing characteristic of a hydrogen occlusion alloy even during the consumption of hydrogen by a hydrogen consuming apparatus, in an air conditioner mounted on a hydrogen-utilizing system comprising the hydrogen consuming apparatus which consumes hydrogen. <P>SOLUTION: Containers 40, 50 respectively filled with the hydrogen occlusion alloy MH1, MH2 are mounted independently from a hydrogen high-pressure tank 21. When the insides of the containers 40, 50 are connected to a high-pressure part of a hydrogen supply passage 22, hydrogen is occluded by the hydrogen absorption alloy in the container and the heat is generated. On the other hand, when the insides of the containers are connected by a low-pressure part in the hydrogen supply passage 22, hydrogen is released from the hydrogen occlusion alloy in the container and the heat is absorbed. Whereby both of the cooling and heating can be performed by utilizing the heat generating/absorbing characteristic of the hydrogen occlusion alloys MH1, MH2 even during the consumption of hydrogen by a fuel cell 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
