An apparatus (1) for cutting hard materials that comprises at least one tool (10; 10a; 10b; 55) connected to respective actuating means (8; 9; 47; 66), said tool comprising plurality of tool elements (11; 11a; 11b; 56) connected together to form a closed-loop articulated chain; said tool elements (11; 11a; 11b; 56) are shaped in such a way as to be able to rotate in relation to one another on a plane only towards the inside of said loop, a rotation towards the outside of said loop being substantially prevented. |
