PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection device that can perform a complete marginless printing by suppressing the amount of missing ink ejection to the minimum, a program, a method of ejecting a liquid, and a printing system. SOLUTION: This liquid ejection device which has a movable jet head for ejecting a liquid to a recording medium and a detecting means movable with the jet head for detecting one end position and the other end position of the recording medium, and in which, by presetting a predetermined amount of a margin on each of the one end position and the other end position detected by the detecting means, the liquid can be ejected from the jet head to the whole face of the recording medium, is characterised in that the amount of the margin preset to the one end position and the amount of the margin preset to the other end position are made different from each other.
