PURPOSE: A luminous element bench of an optical disk reproduction device and a fabrication method thereof are provided to form a lower end of a mirror surface under a base surface. CONSTITUTION: A portion of an upper surface(61) of a luminous element bench(6) is concave. A luminous element is fixed to a base surface(62). A mirror surface(63) is downward inclined from the upper surface(61) while facing with a luminous end of the luminous element set on the base surface(62). A lower end of the mirror surface(63) is formed under the base surface(62). The mirror surface(63) is formed to reflect light better.
