PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera position calculation system dispensing with movement of the camera position in many times. SOLUTION: A marker recognition part 131 recognizes a marker 110 from a pick up image by a camera 120. A camera parameter holding part 132 holds a plurality of parameters for specifying the camera position. A camera parameter conversion part 133 changes the parameters in a fixed range respectively. A marker position calculation part 135 calculates a marker coordinate value viewed from a position specified by the parameters based on the marker coordinate value held in a marker coordinate holding part 134. A difference calculation part 136 calculates a difference value between the calculated coordinate value and the recognized marker coordinate value. A difference result holding part 137 holds the calculated difference value. An approximation part 138 approximates the changing state of the difference value by an approximation function from the changed number of difference values, and determines the parameters by which the calculated coordinate value approaches most the recognized marker coordinate value.
