KEYBOARD UNIT IMPLEMENTING MULTI-CHARACTER AND AN INPUTTING METHOD THEREOF, CONCERNED WITH EXPRESSING EVERY CHARACTER OF HANGUL BY PRESSING LESS NUMBER OF PRESSING OPERATIONS

PURPOSE: A keyboard unit implementing multi-character and an inputting method thereof are provided to express every character of Hangul by pressing less number of pressing operations. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard(100) of a mobile terminal includes a consonant keyboard part(210) consisting of five buttons having ten basic consonants and a vowel keyboard part(220) consisting of three buttons having six basic vowels. The keyboard(100) also includes a function button part(120) required for using a call and a screen(110) for displaying information. Direction buttons(125) are used to move a cursor in order to indicate a letter selected on the screen(110). A screen movement button(250) moves the screen to a previous screen or a next screen.
