The ring binder has a holder (15) for releasably holding data carrying discs in at least one inner or outer face of the cover (10). The binder has a plastic ring (15,16) with radially inwardly extending spring tongues (15A,16A) which engage in the central openings of the data carrier discs. The holder can be glued to the cover panel of the ring binder.
