The valve drive arrangement has a camshaft (2) with at least one cam (3,4) for operating at least one valve (7,8) of the internal combustion engine. The camshaft is driven by an electric motor (9) so that the camshaft forms the rotor of an electric motor and is thus an integral component of the electric motor. Permanent magnets (10,11) are arranged on the camshaft and/or the camshaft is made of a magnetic material.
