PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system that can easily obtain information more than information displayed on an image display device and omit the trouble to manually input information of a telephone number, a URL, etc., displayed on the image display device to a personal digital assistant(PDA). SOLUTION: The image display system comprises the image display device which displays electronic images and the PDA 2 and is capable of sending and receiving data between the both. The image display device 1 is equipped with an image display part 11 which displays image data and a data holding part 13 which holds and transmit the image data and data to be transmitted to the PDA 2, and has a function of transmitting the transmit data to the PDA 2 at a transmission request made by the PDA 2.
