摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for assigning a channel to reduce a PAR in a base station of a CDMA system is provided to reduce a PAR(Peak-to-Average Rate) of multiple channel signals, thereby reducing backoff of a power amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A peak probability calculator(209) detects an output analog signal of a digital-to-analog converter(205) receiving the sum of each traffic channel to detect peak power, and to transmit the stochastic distribution. A digital gain controller(210) transmits a digital gain value of the traffic channel according to open loop power control processing. A short PN(Pseudo Noise) code generator(211) notifies a short PN code to be assigned to the traffic channel. A call processing processor(212) controls resource assignment for Walsh codes and resource recovery. A Walsh code generator(213) generates and assigns the Walsh code for traffic channel assignment by using each parameter transmitted from each unit and using control signal of Walsh code resource assignment and resource recovery.
