<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather prediction server which realizes the reduction of the weather information amount to be transmitted and received, and to provide a portable electronic equipment and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The weather prediction server 1, where a cellular phone 2 is connected via a network 5, is provided with a storage section 13 for storing weather information, position information, and time information while they are associated one another; a communication control section 16 for receiving current position information from the cellular phone 2; a CPU 10 for executing a required weather information judgment program 12c for judging whether or not required weather information is present, based on the received, current position information and position information stored at a storage section 13; the CPU 10 for executing an item information posting program 12e for posting required weather information to the cellular phone 2 when it is judged that required weather information is present; and the CPU 10 for executing a storage control program 12g for storing the received weather information and time information at the storage section 13 while they are made to correspond to each other by receiving the required weather information from the cellular phone 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
