The car has a chassis and bodywork (1) including components made of ferrous metal, non-ferrous metal and plastic. At least one visible surface of the bodywork, e.g. the roof (2), is laminated (i.e. coated or covered) with a fiber mat (3). A coating of clear lacquer is subsequently applied to the fiber mat on the roof.
