PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a pipe joint structure excellent in earthquake resistance advantageously in cost and construction period by minimizing complicated processing for a connection pipe such as pipe cutting on a construction site. SOLUTION: An elastic sealant 3 which seals a space between an inner surface 1a of a socket pipe portion 1A on the side of one end of a joint pipe and the connection pipe and a pressing ring 4 which has a biting-in guiding means B biting-in and moving a coming-out prevention member 7 inward in the pipe diameter direction according to relative disengaging displacement of the coming-out prevention member 7 and both pipes 1, 2, are attached on the outside of the connection pipe 2 whose outer surface is formed in the shape of a straight pipe. After both pipe portions 1A, 2A are inserted and connected each other, the elastic sealant 3 is pressed into a sealed state by the pressing ring 4 according as the pressing ring 4 and the socket pipe portion 1A are fastened and locked by a fastening means 5, and when both pipe portions 1B, 6A are relatively disengaged and displaced, they come into contact with each other and more disengagement and displacement are stopped by a disengagement-preventing means A formed between a pipe portion 1B on the side of the other end of the joint pipe 1 and another pipe portion 6A fitted and connected to the pipe portion 1B.
