PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and long lasting spot welding gun in which a pressure driving body is protected inside from welding spatters, cooling water, etc., as well as being improved in rigidity with less fault occurring. SOLUTION: The spot welding gun is characterized in that the pressure driving body (the body) 5 is mounted at one end with a fixed arm 10 in the direction right angled to the axis of the body and with a pressurizing rod 16 on the nut 14 end inside the body, that the pressurizing rod is arranged at the other end of the body in the manner expanding and contracting from the body, and that a movable arm 19 is attached to the tip end of the pressurizing rod in the direction right angled to the axis of the body, so that the movable arm is designed to approach to and recede from the fixed arm.
