PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a painted electric wire in order that uneven thickness occuring in a wire coated film layer is prevented, and that a cured coated film layer of uniform thickness is formed. SOLUTION: A coating vessel 3 consisting of a non-conductive material in which a coating E is contained is arranged in a high-frequency induction heating coil 5, the wire 1 is heated by the high-frequency induction heating coil 5 while traveling in the coating E in the coating vessel 3, and after the coating E on the surface of the coating E of a coating vessel 3 as well as the coating E on the circumference of the wire 1 are formed on the thickening coated film layer FA in a thickening state of high concentration and high viscosity wherein curing or solvent evaporation has been progressed, the wire is penetrated through a thickness adjusting tool 4 to adjust the thickness of the thickening coated film layer FA and a heated curing oven 7, the cured coated film layer FB is formed on the circumference of the wire 1.
