PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain environment-friendly radiation facilities that facilitate a machining work at a shielding section, shorten machining time, reduce the cost in the manufacture of an apparatus, eliminate problems regarding environmental pollution, and facilitate recycling and reuse. SOLUTION: The radiation facility comprises a radioactive substance housing section 1 for housing a radioactive substance radiating radiations; and the shielding section 5 that is provided by covering the radioactive substance housing section 1 and shields the radiations being radiated from the radioactive substance. The shielding section 5 is manufactured by a high specific gravity resin where a specific amount of radiation shielding metal is mixed with resin to an extent for shielding the radiations.
