<p>The casing contains an ultrasonic transducer (12) and is connected to a shaft (16) with an applicator at its far end. The applicator has an axially-driven, oscillating working component (18). An axially-fixed component (20), is immovably connected with the shaft. Between them (18, 20), a working space (F) is formed. This is a gap tapering away from the end, which serves to hold bodily tissue, to coagulate and/or cut it.</p> |
