PURPOSE: A compound lens and a vessel bottom inspection apparatus by using the same are provided to simplify inspection processes and to reduce manufacturing costs by simultaneously performing a polarizing inspection and an impurity inspection when performing a bottom inspection. CONSTITUTION: An illumination unit(30) is installed at a lower portion of a vessel. A compound lens(40) is aligned at an upper portion of the illumination unit(30). The compound lens(40) has a condenser lens section(42) for receiving a bottom image of the vessel, a beam splitting section(48) for splitting the bottom image into several images through a beam splitter(48a), and sub lens sections(50a,50b) equipped with a polarizing filter(56). CCD cameras(54,55) are aligned at one side of the compound lens(40) towards the sub lens sections(50a,50b). The CCD cameras(54,55) are detachably coupled to the sub lens sections(50a,50b).
