<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle headlamp which can be realized as a small-sized device with a simple structure and which has a satisfactory light shielding performance in both light distribution for passing each other and for travel by a small amount of light source position change in the same degree as 6 mm, which is the distance between the filament center for passing each other and the filament center for traveling of the vehicle headlamp capable of irradiation by switching over between the light distribution for passing each other and for traveling. <P>SOLUTION: This headlamp is characterized in that it has a light shielding face set up at such angles that in the light distribution for traveling, light fluxes pass through on both sides of its front face and rear face, and in the light distribution for passing each other, the light fluxes are cut off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
