A cistern of synthetic plastics material is supported on a wall 12 by a flanged rail 20 (Fig. 2), a rib 15 projecting as shown from the tank 10 having a flange 16 to hook over the rail flange 24, which like the flange 16 extends along the whole or most of the tank length. The rail 20 has a flange 25 under which a rib 31 of the cover 11 engages to hold the back of the cover down. The other shell sides have an upper fin 32 (Fig. 3) projecting into a groove 32 in the cover 11 and having a gap at the mid-point of each side. Towards the front of each end the cover 11 has a lug 34 into which a screw 35 is inserted through the shell. The lower face of the rib 15 may have small pockets, thus engaging the flange 24 at spaced areas.</p> |
