PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear for construction machinery for supplying lubricating oil to a bearing for supporting a pinion gear, more stably than conventional constitution. SOLUTION: This reduction gear for the construction machinery is provided with a planetary reduction gear mechanism; a driving gear 22 coaxial with the rotation axis of the planetary reduction gear mechanism and rotationally driving an input shaft of the planetary reduction gear mechanism; a pinion gear 21 arranged to position its lower end higher than the rotation axis of the planetary reduction gear mechanism and meshed with the driving gear 22 to transmit the rotation of a traveling hydraulic motor to the gear 22; a pinion gear supporting bearing 9 for supporting the pinion gear 21; and a casing for surrounding these planetary reduction gear mechanism, gears 21, 22 and bearing 9 and storing the lubricating oil. A lower structure is allowed to travel by the rotation of the planetary reduction gear mechanism.
