PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for the oral cavity preventing the lowering of residual ratio of an ascorbic acid phosphate or its salt with time and stably formulating the ascorbic acid phosphate or its salt over a long period. SOLUTION: The composition for the oral cavity comprises the ascorbic acid phosphate or its salt. In the composition, one or more polishing agents selected from calcium hydrogenphosphate anhydrous salt, hydroxyapatite and calcium triphosphate and disodium hydrogenphosphate are formulated and the resultant formulation after preservation for 1 month at 25°C is regulated to have pH≥8.Thereby, the composition for the oral cavity comprising the ascorbic acid phosphate or its salt stably formulated therein over the long period can be obtained.
