A PROCESS FOR REMOVING A PACKING FILM FROM A PALLETIZED STACKED LOAD

The film (2) covering the stacked pallet is cut horizontally all around the stack at a base of a layer of the stacked load, thus forming an annular strip of film (2) which is then removed from the stack together with the layer of the load located above the horizontal cut line and still embraced by the cut strip of film (2). The horizontal cut is realized immediately above a separator (5) dividing the load into layers; the cut is performed by a cutter (10) which is mobile along a ringed horizontal guide which surrounds a palletized load located in a housing station (7). The invention is applicable in a multi-layer loads of containers and ensures a greater stability and compactness of the load during stages of de-packing and depallatization thereof.
