<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part mounting substrate manufacturing apparatus which is capable of easily changing its manufacturing processes, coping effectively with the limited production of a wide variety of products, and furthermore shortening its placement length so as to improve part mounting substrates in productivity per unit area and to provide a method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The part mounting substrate manufacturing apparatus is composed of a plurality of modules which are continuously arranged. At least, one of the above modules is equipped with two units that are arranged in series in a board transfer direction, and the two units are each equipped with a head section selected from various kinds of head sections used for carrying out two or more processes and a head section drive-gear provided with a head section mounting where the selected head section is mounted in a detachable manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
