PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep airtightness of a heat exchanger section without using an airtightness holding member for a ventilating device. SOLUTION: The ventilating device has the removably built-in heat exchanger for exchanging heat between supply and discharge of gas. The heat exchanger is a hexahedron having a laminated structure. One end surface side constituted in part of a frame forming a small opening in the body is butted on the structure surface of the body, and the other surface side constituted by the frame faces to an inspection opening formed in the body. The ventilating device is covered with an inspection lid removably mounted to the inspection opening and is placed in a functional manner. The end surface side on the inspection opening side of the heat exchanger is projected out of the inspection opening in the body by the frame size, and the inside of the inspection lid is provided with a recess for allowing the heat exchanger to project from the body.
