PURPOSE: A nipper for preventing a broken wire from spattering is provided to prevent the injury of a worker by installing a cap at the middle part of the nipper. CONSTITUTION: In a nipper, a ring-shaped unit(110) is integrally formed at the center of a first body(1), and has an insertion hole(111). A driving gear(120) is installed at the center of a second body(2), and is fit into the insertion hole. A pinion gear(130) is rotatably installed at one side of the ring-shaped unit, and is engaged with the driving gear. A cap(140) is rotatably coupled to the other side of the ring-shaped unit by a hinge. A rack gear(142) is formed at the inner circumference of the cap, and is engaged with the pinion gear. The driving gear rotates the pinion gear when a worker grasps a handle(2). And, the cap is rotated on the hinge, and covers a cutting unit(11) of the nipper.
