<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system that can output a desired file at an office being visited, while ensuring security. <P>SOLUTION: An output instruction by a printer 31 arranged in the visiting office 300 is made from a thin client terminal 11, with respect to a file, which is created by a predetermined application program and stored in a server 20 at a remote place. Thereby, the file is acquired by a host PC 30 and is printed out by the printer 31. Consequently, print output processing in the remote place is enabled, without installing a driver program in the server of a home office, thereby improving convenience in a thin client system. Also, it is easily prohibited that a temporary user conducts operations other than those allowed, thus ensuring security thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
