PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring device capable of forming a deep hole of a small diameter by continuous action without drawing a tool from a bore during the forming. SOLUTION: This boring device 10 comprises a base 12 and a workpiece holding device 14 relatively movable to each other, and a vibration imparting device 24. A workpiece 16 is held by the workpiece holding device 14, and a tool rotating device 22 rotating a tool 18 around a rotation axial line 20 is supported by the base 12. While the tool rotating device 22 and the base 12 are relatively vibrated along the rotation axial line 20 by the vibration imparting device 24, the workpiece holding device 14 is made adjacent to the base 12 so as to bore the workpiece 16.
