FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in transmissions of self-propelled vehicles, mainly, tractors. Proposed gearbox contains input and output shafts, two countershafts and reverse shaft with gears fixed or freely fitted on shafts. Gear-shifting device connects, in first position, output shaft with first countershaft, in second position, it connects output shaft with freely fitted on said shaft. Two provide different gear ratios of forward and reverse speeds, gears on output shaft are connected in pairs, and together with common shifting device, form groups where one gear is in meshing with fixed gear of second countershaft and second gear is in meshing with gear on reverse shaft. Invention makes it possible to increase number of vehicle speeds at maximum efficiency without increasing overall length and provide rational distribution of gear rations of forward and reverse speeds.
