PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an outer tub door from being closed without closing a drum door. SOLUTION: When a user erroneously closes the outer tub door 101 before closing the drum door 131, the tip part of a protrusion 55 of the outer drum door 101 hits against a receiving portion 57 of the drum door 131 at the very beginning. Further turning the outer tub door 101 in the closing direction makes the tip part of the protrusion 55 press the inner edge part of the receiving portion 57 inwardly to press the drum door 131 in the opening direction. The drum door 131 is prevented from turning in the opening direction, so that the movement of the outer tub door 101 is stopped. Therefore, when the drum door 131 is not completely closed, the outer tub door 101 is not closed. Thus washing operation is prevented from starting until the drum door 131 is closed.
