CLEANING ROBOT WITH ROTARY INTAKE PORT

PURPOSE: A cleaning robot having a rotary intake port is provided to improve cleaning efficiency by sucking foreign matters from corners with turning the rotary intake port protruded from the robot body through a motor in placing the robot near corners or walls. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning robot is composed of a robot body(10) having plural driving wheels(11,12) for traveling; a dust suction unit generating suction force to a suction port formed in the robot body and sucking pollutants among air; a rotary intake port(300) communicated to the suction port, installed in the lower part of the robot body, turned by a joint and protruded from the robot body; a motor(320) turning the rotary intake port; a sensor unit detecting the travel distance of the robot body and obstacles on the travel passage; and a control unit processing signals of the robot body and controlling operation of the driving wheels, the suction unit and the motor.
