<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for enabling start of an engine for facilitation of disassembly. <P>SOLUTION: This mechanism 1 for enabling start of an engine can start the engine by operating a knob 30 to rotate under a condition that an ID code transmitted from a mobile machine 81 is consistent with a unique ID code allocated to each vehicle. The knob 30 is installed to an end of a rotor 21 for actuating an ignition switch of the engine. The knob 30 is constituted by an adapter 71 and a tab member 61.
