PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for a brush device which can prevent a slippage in contact position between a brush and a commutator. SOLUTION: A magnet holder 14 fitted in a yoke 11 is provided with a plurality of extended protrusions 20 for engagement. The brush device 19 (board 25) is supported floatingly via elastic rubber 28 engaged with each engaging recess (support) 25b. Moreover, the brush device 19 (board 25) is positioned so that the axial center of the board 25 coincides with the axial center of the commutator 18, by fitting each projection 20b of the engaging protrusions 20 into the engaging hole 28a of each elastic rubber 28, when setting the yoke 11 to a housing 12.
