PURPOSE: Provided is a terminal of lead storage battery which has good surface roughness, uniform structure and excellent mechanical properties. A method for producing the terminal is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The terminal of lead storage battery comprises: a fixed part(30) positioned in a case of lead storage battery and having a longitudinal groove(32); an annular jaw(20) positioned at one end of the fixed part(30) and having multiple rotation preventing jaws(27) along the edges in the machine direction of the fixed part(30); and an earth part(10) fixed on the top face of the annular jaw(20) wherein a cavity is formed through the fixed part(30), annular jaw(20) and earth part(10).
