PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost vacuum tube type solar heat collector having high heat collecting efficiency. SOLUTION: This vacuum tube type solar heat collector is so formed that a plurality of heat collecting tube units each formed by sealing an open end of a double glazed heat collecting pipe 1 by a fixture 2 opened with a connecting port 3, whose inside diameter is smaller than the inside diameter of the open end of the collecting pipe 1 and whose inner circumference is internally connected to the inner circumference of the open end, are fitted to a connecting pipe 5 with their internally connected points positioned in the uppermost part.
