PURPOSE: A multifunction audio/video system having an audio/video apparatus and a mobile computer is provided to talk over the telephone, watch a TV, or listen to the radio by using the mobile computer. CONSTITUTION: A multifunction audio/video apparatus(100) includes a radio tuner part, a TV tuner part, a telephone circuit part, a plurality of key buttons, a voice selecting unit selectively outputting voice output, and a voice input/output unit outputting the voice output and inputting a voice. A voice codec compresses voice signal output of the voice selecting unit. A video compressing unit compresses video signal output of the TV tuner part. A network interface unit receives electronic mails from the outside. A wireless transmitting and receiving unit transmits the electronic mails received from the network interface unit, transmits the outputs of the voice codec and the video compressing unit wirelessly, and receives a control command from an external device. A control unit controls each component according to control commands received from the plurality of key buttons, and the wireless transmitting and receiving unit. |
