PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the head space of a paper cup as needed, and to increase the head space as before as needed when it is reduced. SOLUTION: This paper cup comprises a body part (10) and a bottom part, and the middle part (12) of the body part (10) is made of a film. The film is folded for reducing its head space, and the film is unfolded after it is folded for returning its head space to its previous condition. Thus as it becomes necessary, the head space can be reduced, and when the same is reduced, it can be unfolded as it becomes necessary. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
