<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the provision of a service for assisting the deduction declaration procedure by collecting and managing data of medical expenses paid by the person to whom medical expense deduction is applied or by members of the person's legal family. <P>SOLUTION: An assistance service center 2 collects data, which include medical expenses paid by members of the user who has applied for the use of the service and the organizations to which the expenses were paid, from medical institution terminals 9 on a network, and stores and manages the data in a sick person log database.
