PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding jig for preventing overturn of a trestile, which can be easily attached to/detached from a trestile, a ladder, or the like, and allows the trestile or the like to be positively fixed to a ground surface with rugged portions, etc., a stepped place, etc., thereby to prevent overturn of the trestile or the like. SOLUTION: The holding jig for preventing overturn of the trestile is applicable to the trestile, the ladder, or the like which has a plurality of different shapes, and formed in one body of a support holding tool portion (1) and a fixing anchor holding tool portion (2). The holding tool is easily attachable to/detachable from the trestile or the like according to the circumstances. In order to prevent overturn of the trestile or the like, an fixing anchor (5) is driven into the anchor holding tool portion (2), to thereby positively fix the trestile or the like to the ground and prevent overturn of the same.
