PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately display an emphasized portion (screen) in an attachment file marked by a sender when a receiver only opens the attached file by sending by an electronic mail the attachment file wherein the specific portion (screen) is marked. SOLUTION: A display start position information/applicable condition setting portion 27 of a sending side terminal performs processing of marking a display start position in the attached file, a mail combining portion 24 combines a text of the mail with the attachment file and mark information indicating the display start position of the attachment file and sends from a mail communication portion 22. On the other hand, display start position information/applicable condition judging portion 36 of a receiving side terminal judges whether an attachment file and mark information is attached to a received mail by a display request of the attachment file and, when they are attached, displays the attachment file from a specified display start position based on the mark information on an attachment file display portion 27.
