PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an interference from other adjacent channels by simple setting even in the different format or system of television broadcasting. SOLUTION: A television tuner is provided with a mixer 2 for converting the frequency of a received television signal to the signal of an intermediate frequency (IF) band, an IF amplifier 3 for amplifying the signal of the IF band and a first parallel resonance circuit interposed between the mixer 2 and the IF amplifier 3. The first parallel resonance circuit 5 has a varactor diode 5a and an inductance element 5b at least and is configured so that any one of voltages of a plurality of values can be applied to both terminals of the varactor diode 5a and the resonance frequency of the first parallel resonance circuit 5 can be set closely to the video IF of the television system of any one of other channels adjacent to the lower side of the IF band by this voltage.
