PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of regulating load of a cogeneration apparatus capable of efficiently preventing or relieving adverse tidal current caused by reduction in a power load. SOLUTION: Each of specific apparatuses 2 receives at least power from a cogeneration apparatus 1 for generating power and heat energy and consumes the power, needs no continuous or steady operation beyond a prescribed time range, and has high flexibility in setting an operation time period. The apparatuses 2 are previously set as a power consumption regulating apparatus 14. The operation of at least a part of the power consumption regulating apparatus 14 is controlled forcibly so that total electric power consumption may be increased, when the total power consumption of all the apparatuses which receive the power supply from the cogeneration apparatus 1 is less than the output power outputted by the cogeneration apparatus 1. |
