A steerable personal vehicle (10) is providing for use on snow, land and water. The steerable personal vehicle (10) has a steering assembly (60) and a frame (20). The steering assembly (60) and the frame (20) are connected by a joint (80) about which either may be rotated relative to the other. The frame (20) includes a rider support (40) on which a rider may be mounted in a generally prone position. The steering assembly (60) provides for rotation about three main axes, so as to provide stability and handling. The vehicle (10) is mounted on a plurality of runners (50a, 40ab, 22) that may be attached thereto by front and rear suspensions (65, 30). The runners (50a, 40ab, 22) may be formed as snow skis, water skis wheel-mounting tracks. |
