HARD DISK DRIVE INCLUDING FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT HAVING CAVITY

PURPOSE: A hard disk drive including a flexible printed circuit having a cavity is provided to minimize the influence on a servo control by reducing vibration energy of a specific frequency area, and easily control a position of an actuator by reducing noise to a head signal. CONSTITUTION: An actuator(63) includes a magnetic head(65) writing data at a disk(53) or reading the data of the disk. A voice coil motor(61) drives the actuator. A flexible printed circuit(41) is formed of head signal patterns, voltage patterns, a ground pattern, and a current pattern to transmit electric signals to the actuator and the voice coil motor. The flexible printed circuit has a slot type cavity formed between the head signal patterns, the voltage patterns and the ground pattern, the current pattern. A bracket(67) supports the flexible printed circuit.
