PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule type medial apparatus capable of detecting a setting state for a suitable transmission output or the like. SOLUTION: A signal having a redetermined strength is transmitted from a transmitter circuit 32 via an antenna 11 by a radio wave at an external unit 5 side. The strength of the radio wave is detected by a radio field intensity detector 40 in a receiver circuit 38 via an antenna 23 of the capsule type endoscope 3 disposed in a body. A power amplifying rate by a power amplifier circuit 42 of the transmitter circuit 37 is controlled via a gain control circuit 41. The transmission output when transmitting organism information such as an imaging signal or the like by an imaging unit 43 of the endoscope 3 can be set to a suitable transmission output to be received at the unit 5 side.
