PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lance removing sludge accumulated on a tube plate without reducing the heat exchange performance of a steam generator with an economizer and without causing a problem of thermal fatigue. SOLUTION: This steam generator with the economizer is provided with an inlet water chamber and an outlet water chamber for a primary cooling water in the lower side part of the tube plate of a cylindrical pressure vessel laid vertically, disposed of an inverse-U-shaped tubes communicating between the inlet water chamber and the outlet water chamber in the trunk in the upper part of the tube plate, vertically provided with a partitioning plate in a tube lane between hot-side tubes in the inlet water chamber side and cold-side tubes in the outlet water chamber side of a turn in the top parts of the U-shaped tubes so as to partition the tube plate in the trunk into the hot-side tubes side and the cold-side tubes side, and feeds a secondary cooling water to a region surrounding the cold-side tubes in the trunk. This partitioning plate is provided with an S-cross-section part forming a recessed groove part horizontally extending in the adjacently to the tube plate and facing to the hot-side tubes and the cold-side tubes, and a lancing device insertion part in side parts of the trunk on the extension of the respective recessed grooves.
