PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an accurate work at the time of correcting work or the like by viewing a printed output by a plurality of proofreaders. SOLUTION: When a new printing job is received, a comp number is set for it when it is a new job, and is stored (steps 100-104). When printing of the comp number is commanded, the comp number is read out (steps 106, 108). Whether or not the job data are changed is confirmed. Only in the case they are updated, the comp number is updated. After synthesization of the comp number image and the printing job image (steps 112-124), it is printed and outputted. Thereby, the non-updated comp number is printed on the same image printed matter, and the updated comp number is printed on the updated image. |
