PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a sufficient load resistance without using quenching treatment on a groove surface of a guide groove, by arranging a sufficient number of balls between a fixed rail and a movable rail while ensuring a slide stroke of the movable rail. SOLUTION: Opposed surfaces of the fixed rail 6 and the movable rail 71 are provided with a plurality of guide grooves 63, 64, 65, 66, 72 and 73 extending parallel in a rail longitude direction, and a plurality of balls 81 and 82 are positioned for rolling motion along the guide grooves 63, 64, 65, 66, 72 and 73. The guide grooves 63, 64, 65, 66, 72 and 73 are formed at such intervals as overlap the balls 81 and 82 positioned in adjacent guide grooves 63, 64, 65, 66, 72 and 73 in a view in a rail longitude direction.
