OPEN TYPE DISPOSABLE WEARING ARTICLE

PURPOSE: To provide an open type disposable wearing article constituted so that the fixing end part of a tape fastener applies no pain or unpleasant feeling to a wearer even if the side flaps of a rear girth region come into contact with the skin of the wearer during the wearing of the article. CONSTITUTION: The open type disposable wearing article 1A has a front girth region 5, the rear girth region 7 and the crotch part 6 positioned between the girth regions 5 and 7 and the tape fasteners 13 for connecting the front and rear girth regions 5 and 7 are attached to the side flaps 9 extending longitudinally in the rear girth region 7. The side flaps 9 have first regions S1 covering the skin contact surfaces of the fixed end 16 of the tape fasteners 13 and residual second regions S2 excepting the first regions S1 and the basis wt. of each of the first regions S1 is larger than that of each of the second regions S2.
